A unit of KCBC Madhyavirudha Samidhi has been functioning at St. Andrew’s Basilica Since 2007. The unit members visit houses of the drug addicted people in the parish and send them to the Thiberias Retreat Centre for retreat. The unit takes extra care and efforts in keeping touch with them so that may not go back to the previous condition. The unit members come together for prayer on each Saturday from 7 pm to 8 pm. During Christmas and Eater Season a small contribution is taken from the members to help the sick and the poor. Mr. Das Charanghatt and Mr.Pul Joseph are the President and Secretary respectively.
